The winter sun is at its best now and no need for too much sunblock! The South Coast boasts 7 Blue Flag beaches and many other amazing beaches one can visit. The Blue Flag beaches are: Hibberdene, Umzumbe, Southport, Lucien, Ramsgate, Marina Beach and Trafalgar.
The South Coast gives you choices – you can go deep sea fishing, fish from the shore or find a dam inland and go bass fishing. Whatever you choose it will be great bonding time with the family.
Whale and dolphin watching
These are our annual visitors to the South Coast. They migrate annually from the South Pole and they come past the coastline every winter from the end of May on their way to Mozambique. They then journey back to the South Pole and the last whales are seen towards the end of November.

Catch a big one on a deep-sea fishing charter – that can often be found at ski boat launch sites such as:
